Short Term Experiences 2023

Camp Church Planting Greece Guatemala Spain Internship Latin America North America
Are you a college student looking for an opportunity to be involved in missions this summer? Serve in places like Alaska, Spain, Guatemala, Greece and more using your gifts to share the love of Christ. Check out specific opportunities below that are available this year! Application deadline for May dates March 10th; and June - September dates: March 31.

Chicoc, Guatemala (two spots available)

This opportunity is in the heart of indigenous village life. You will be in the classroom teaching English, building relationships with young believers, helping lead Bible studies, and sharing the gospel. Part of the experience will be seeing the finer details of ministry such as visiting those in need or taking patients to the hospital. Learn what it means to be a missionary with opportunities to apply it in real-life situations.

Intermediate Spanish: Required
Experience in teaching: Highly Recommended
Ability to adapt and rough it out: Necessary

Spain: Springs of Life Camp
Springs of Life Camp serves the evangelical community of southern Spain through retreats, conferences, and camps. We offer four week-long camps in the summer and typically have between 50 - 140 campers per week. In the off-season, we host church retreats and conferences. Around 2800 people attend Springs of Life Camp each year.

The camp ministry consists of a wide variety of jobs which could include: cleaning, yard work, kitchen help, pool upkeep, minor maintenance, IT work, video/photography used for the camp website and social media, and counselors (if fluent in Spanish).

Dates: July 1- Mid August

Alaska: Echo Ranch Bible Camp
As a camp counselor, you will oversee campers (ages 7-18) during their week at camp. You will also lead devotions and help facilitate activities for campers. Counselors are responsible for the safety, well-being, and spiritual leadership of their campers. For over 50 years, ERBC (Echo Ranch Bible Camp) has been impacting the lives of youth in Alaska.

Many of the outlying communities do not have a Bible-believing church. At ERBC the campers receive the gospel, biblical teaching, and fellowship with other believers. Many come to know Christ each summer.

Dates: Last week of May - Second week of August
