MK Education, Evangelism & Discipleship in Puebla, Mexico
Serving and following Jesus through our vocation of education has been our desire and joy since before being appointed in 2000 by CAM International (later re-branded as Camino Global and subsequently merged into Avant). This missionary journey has led us to a variety of fruitful ministry tasks and relationships in central Mexico for over 16 years. Our primary ministry from 2004 to 2017 was in providing educational support for homeschooling missionary families and thus enabling them to remain on the field. Since 2018, we've been teaching at Puebla Christian School where we've actively shared the gospel with our unsaved students and have also discipled our students who know the Lord. The student body comprises of missionary kids (MKs) and the children of national and international families of both believing and unbelieving families. We also teach and minister in a church plant.
Through the years, we've led evangelistic Bible studies, baptized and discipled new believers, formed a small house church, assisted in evangelistic outreach events, taught Bible studies in Spanish and English, and organized and led many educational activities with homeschooling MKs.
We've raised and homeschooled our two boys here (Cameron and Dayton). Cameron graduated in 2020 from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with a degree in Children and Family Ministries. Dayton will be studying Computer Science at LeTourneau University beginning in the fall of 2021.
