Training Spanish speakers to reach the world
Jack was raised in the Chicago area. Sharon was raised in the country of Peru to British missionary parents. They have three children and seven grandchildren: Brittany and Caleb (husband) and their six children, Daniel and Emi (wife), Tim and Christina (wife) and their child.The Mitchells joined Avant Ministries in 2019, after twenty-eight years of global service with World Team, including twenty-two years as church planters among upper-middle professionals in Chile. Since 2019 they have been part of an Avant team serving at Seminario Bíblico Río Grande on the southernmost border of Texas and Mexico.
The Mitchell’s passion is to make disciples of all nations through biblical training and preparation of global workers from anywhere in Latin America to everywhere in the world. Priority is put on building and developing relationships. Jack is professor of Missions, as well as one-on-one mentor of men students. Sharon is mentor of women students.
