Missio Nexus
Missio Nexus connects missions leaders, agencies, and churches with the relationships, insights, and collaboration needed to increase their Kingdom impact.
The Central American Mission (Camino Global), which merged with Avant in 2019, is one of the seven original founding members of The Interdenominational Foreign Mission Association. Camino and Avant have been members of Missio Nexus for most of their histories.
The IFMA was founded in 1917 with the mission of strengthening Christian mission agencies by upholding standards of operation, assuring integrity and cooperative resourcing to spread the gospel.
In 2007 the IFMA became CrossGlobal Link, then in 2012 merged with The Mission Exchange (formerly EFMA) to become MissioNexus. The members of Missio Nexus form a body representative of 55,000 evangelical missionaries deployed in every continent by approximately 300 agencies and churches. Avant Ministries received Accreditation by Missio Nexus in 2020.
