Middle East

The Middle East is where the gospel was first preached. Today, it is not only one of the most unreached regions of the world, but also one of the hardest to reach. Frequent conflict, the stronghold of Islam, and political instability make it difficult to gain trust and build relationships to share the gospel.  It is estimated that only about 1% of the population in the Middle East follows Jesus.

Avant workers in this region are using creative means to share the gospel and make disciples. Through education, business for transformation, Bible projects, media, sports, and more, the light of Jesus is shining in one of the darkest places. Churches are being planted and multiplying. Disciples are being bold in their witness to their neighbors. God’s glory is being magnified as the gospel is changing lives across this region!
