Short Term Opportunities
Do you want to experience what it's really like to be a cross-cultural missionary? Through our short term program you will learn the language, experience the culture, serve in a local church, and build deep relationships in the place where you serve. Your missions coach and our missionaries will mentor you every step of the way through support raising, pre-field training, service, and debrief. Our Short Term Program will help you discern how God is calling you to participate in the Great Commission. Check out our opportunities to serve 1-6 months below!
All dates can be customized based on the needs of the hosting missionary and the go-er. Some opportunities are not listed for security.
Africa
Kenya: Our workers in Kenya are passionate about reaching North Africa, a largely unreached area, by mobilizing Africans to their own continent. There is an urgent need for 1-3 English speakers to serve with their administrative skills for 2-3 months leading up to the conference in early July.

East Timor: Our workers in this small island country have utilized business for transformation ministry to begin a school teaching classes in various areas of study. Through English conversation sessions, administrative work, community development, and outreach to locals, our workers are in the process of sharing the gospel for the sake of planting a healthy, reproducing church in this unreached area.

Reflections from our Short-Termers
Laura, East Timor
“I have become a lot more convinced in the importance of going out and spreading the gospel and investing in people's lives. Because of the friendships I built, I care a lot more deeply for people who are not yet saved.”
Lat, Tanzania
"The missionaries were very friendly and welcoming - immediately made me feel like family after arriving. Their hearts for people are evident immediately after interacting with them. They made the process of getting everything in line before heading out very easy."
Grace, Poland
"The Avant missionaries in Poland were an absolute pleasure to work alongside. They were a huge blessing in my life and I'm beyond thankful that God allowed me to serve there and build connections with people in Poland."
